The Animals at Nordstu Farm – close to nature and animal welfare

At Nordstu Farm, Angus cattle live in harmony with nature. They are at the heart of our operations and a cornerstone of our philosophy of care and respect.

The Angus cattle – the pride of the farm

Nordstu Farm is home to around 100 Angus cattle, a robust and calm breed perfectly suited to our pastures. The herd grazes outdoors for much of the year, with access to natural feed and plenty of space. Angus are known for their calm temperament, good health and high-quality beef – but for us, animal wellbeing always comes first.

Animal welfare in practice

We believe that animal welfare is about more than regulations. At Nordstu, the cattle are given time, space and proper care every day. They are a natural part of the farm’s rhythm and identity – and we aim to show that when the animals thrive, so do the people who live and work here.
